Bags For Every Dancer!
14th Jul 2022
A day in the studio requires more stuff than people may imagine. You need changes of shoes, water bottle, deodorant, a change of clothes if you are going out afterwards, your phone, purse / wallet, stretch equipment and maybe a whole host of other things I haven’t listed. This is my run down of dance bags and which suits which dancer, depending on age, style, and personal preference.
1/ Molly & Rose Little Ballerina – This bag is ideal for the tiny dancer who wants a bag which proudly announces they dance! This bag is small enough for a pair of ballet shoes and will not weigh a little body down. Also, with the long strap it can be worn across the body so little hands don’t have to worry about carrying it.
2/ Bonnie Pink Barrel – This is the bag for the little dancer who has moved on from just doing one class to maybe two or three. Bigger than the Molly & Rose bag but still just as pink and pretty this bag has internal pockets for more stuff (hairbands and clips) but still has a shoulder strap for security.
3/ Ballerina Bunnies – If your little one is wanting a bag that is more like the ‘big girls’ bags then this is the one for you. The little backpack will make them feel all grown up and is so cute!
4/ Pink Ballet Shoes – This bag is ideal for the pre-teen who is taking more classes than they did as a younger dancer. They need a slightly larger bag for shoe changes, water bottle and coin purse, but not too big as a parent is still around to carry everything else!
5/ Jojo Tote – The bag to have a bit of fun with and ideal for all ages. This is the bag you can use for a workshop or single class. A fun bag which will fit your water bottle, shoes and top and can be carried with ease.
6/ Shimmer Backpack – A bag for the young teenager a backpack is ideal for them to use for class and school. This bag allows them to take to class all that they need and can be worn with ease walking to class from home or school.
7/ Freed Purple & White – Glitter might not be your thing, but you still want a bit of colour in your bag. This bag is ideal as it has an older look to it but is still playful. Big enough for shoes etc but not so big that you over fill it and find it heavy to carry.
8/ Rucksack – A great bag for getting out of the car and running into class. This light weigh, no nonsense bag gives you somewhere to put a pair of shoes and water bottle (if this is all you need).
9/Bowling Bag – Now we have gotten to the larger bags, for the dancer who is in the studio all day or perhaps is going for a sleepover after class and needs more room.
10/ Dance Holdall – The largest bag, this is for the dancer who is going to a show or competition and needs a bag big enough for costumes, make-up, shoes and the entire contents of their dance draw!
