Capezio Pure Knit Jazz Shoes (A Review)

I was really excited about getting these shoes into the shop as they look so different from the normal leather or canvas slip on jazz shoes. On first taking them out of the box you are hit with how small they look. Don’t let this put you off – they stretch! Also with being slip on jazz shoes you need them tight fitting so they don’t fly off mid dance. The knitted texture is what you notice next and not till I put them did I realise that the knitted pattern at the front represents the Capezio X pattern.

I tried on the size 7M (I normally wear a UK 4 street shoe). They were snug on and I did try the 8M as well to see which was the better fit. The 8M were a good fit and either size would work but I liked the tight, snug tight fit of the 7M more as they felt more secure on my foot (really up to the wearer and personal preference). These shoes give you a instant beautiful formed arch and the padded heel add extra comfort and support to the bottom of the heel. The rubber heel and suede toe gives grip and control when turning.

The only negative I have for these shoes is the high v-notched on the back of the heel can rub a little, but after a few wears becomes more comfortable as the shoes become worn in and moulded to your feet. Overall, I love these jazz shoes for there comfort and how light weight they are, you hardly remember you are wearing them.
